Can I invest using Zoya?

Updated this week

Yes, you can link your existing brokerage account to Zoya and initiate trades within our app. Zoya is not a broker-dealer. We don’t custody your assets or execute trades ourselves. When you choose to invest, we simply pass your order to your broker in a secure manner.

Think of Zoya a central hub where you can research, invest, and monitor your portfolio—all in one app.

Connecting a brokerage account

Before you can trade, you need to connect a supported brokerage account to Zoya. We currently support the following brokers:

To connect your broker, go to the Portfolio tab in the app and tap the "Link a brokerage" button. You'll be prompted to sign in and authorize the connection. Once completed, your account will be linked and your portfolio will sync automatically.

What if I don't have a brokerage account?

If you don’t already have a brokerage account, you’ll need to create one before trading in Zoya. This must be done directly on the broker’s website.

Placing trades

When you find a stock or ETF you want to invest in, tap to view its details. If the security is eligible for trading and you’ve linked a supported broker, you’ll see a Buy button. Tapping it will open the trade interface where you can choose your linked brokerage account, enter the number of shares, and submit the trade.

Trades are executed by your broker. Zoya simply passes the order through. Once the trade is filled, Zoya will reflect the updated position in your portfolio.
