Why don't my brokerage connections stay connected in Zoya?

While Zoya partners with leading data aggregators to securely connect your investment accounts, maintaining consistent connections with brokerages can sometimes be challenging due to the following reasons:

  • Many financial institutions still use older technology systems that can make it difficult to establish and maintain stable data connections.

  • If your brokerage updates their login or authentication processes, it may cause your existing connection within Zoya to break until the aggregators can adapt to those changes.

  • Major changes to your brokerage account like closures or transferring assets may disrupt the connection.

  • Some brokers enforce policies that limit or block data sharing with third-party apps for security reasons.

While we aim to make brokerage linking as smooth as possible, it's important to understand that 100% connectivity across all brokers and accounts is technically impossible to guarantee. Some brokerage connections may never establish or could drop unexpectedly due to factors outside our control.
